Travelling Pan African Film & Arts Festival (TPAFF)
The TPAFF enables the VPAFF to fulfill its mandate in an on-going manner, beyond its annual and major events, through an edutainment, outreach program combining film screenings with reflective discussion as well as training and support in hands-on media production. The mobility element of the TPAFF embodies our commitment to engage with disadvantaged communities, including those which simply cannot travel to us to get involved in our programs and events.

To book the TPAFF for your event, or to request the TPAFF create a special program for your school, organization or group, contact us: info@vpaff.org

The Vancouver Pan African Arts Culture & Film Festival (VPAFF) is an international film and arts festival with a human rights conscience fostering creative community development & artistic international cooperation.

Founded on the belief that all nations, irrespective of geography, are "wealthy" in cultural strengths, creative innovation and artistic talents, with issues and expressions of equal value in the global dialogue of human development, we support global citizenship in action through artistic collaboration (production, performance and exhibition) across cultures, languages and continents.

We are registered in British Columbia, Canada as a non-profit society. We provide a platform for Canadian and international talent through our various arts programs and events.

In Canada, the VPAFF provides a platform for peoples of African/Black descent to showcase their stories in their own words, and for the Canadian community to broaden its 'image' and understanding of Africa and the developing world. Internationally, the VPAFF promotes human rights and cross-cultural understanding by addressing various topics on human rights topics, including xenophobia, racism, and stigma through the facilitation of artistic production, the exhibition of artistic work and the mediation of creative dialogue on critical issues.
